Bond 23 – Skyfall
The title for the next Bond movie has officially been released. The 23rd instalment will see Daniel Craig take on the 007 character again in Skyfall.
The title has no link to Bond’s author Ian Fleming but it doesn’t come as much of a surprise – the secret was out a while ago.
So what can you expect from the latest movie, directed by Sam Mendes? Well here’s the official synopsis:
‘Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.’
It doesn’t really give too much away but obviously we’ll be treated to a bundle of action sequences and (probably) Craig in tiny swimwear.
Judie Dench will reprise her role as M and other stars include Albert Finney, Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem, Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe.
The film is due to be released in October 2012.
